Founder's Story
Why I Built MBA AI?
After coaching hundreds of MBA applicants into Harvard, Stanford, and other top programs, I started getting more requests than I could handle. Turning away driven candidates who could thrive at top schools didn't sit right with me.
Every year, I'd work with brilliant business minds and engineers, helping them unlock and articulate their leadership stories through intensive coaching. They then spent weeks perfecting grammar and structure, cutting into the time to dive deeper into their "why". The impact was greater for those with weaker English language skills - which did not correlate to their ability to lead and build.

That frustration became the idea for MBA AI. Through coaching, I could help people clearly see their leadership potential and craft their vision. But I realized the market needed more options to access quality guidance that fit various budgets and learning styles.

Then I noticed something else: With 800 million ChatGPT users globally, almost every applicant was already experimenting with AI. I tested these tools myself and found two major problems. First, generic AI requires extensive prompting to produce anything useful for MBA essays. Second, how would a first-time applicant even recognize good output? They wouldn't know what admissions committees actually value.

So I built MBAai—a specialized tool trained on what actually works. Think of it as having a seasoned admissions coach on-demand, one that handles the technical aspects of writing while you focus on the hard work of self-reflection. It won't write your essays (that's your story to tell), but it will sharpen your language, tighten your narrative, and give you the same caliber of feedback my private clients receive.

Here's the formula that works: Invest in 2-5 hours of quality coaching with a consultant/mentor/friend to unlock your core stories. Then use MBAai to accelerate the iterative writing process—turning weeks of grunt work into days.

Yes, MBAai requires an investment to sustain and continuously improve (building specialized AI isn't cheap). But it gives you another tool—whether you're supplementing work with a coach, extending your budget further, or taking a more independent approach.

I'm an engineer at heart, so I tested this thing relentlessly until it could deliver feedback that mirrors what admissions directors actually look for. What matters in business school is your capacity to lead and drive impact—not just your capacity to write.
